Digital Art Guidelines

We operate in a Windows XP environment. (If using a MAC, please be sure to use the appropriate DOS extension when saving your file. i.e. *.ai - *.p65 - etc.)

Illustrator 9.0
Embed all graphics using the Links window and convert all fonts to outlines. Export your ad as a grayscale JPG, TIFF or BMP or save the file as an Illustrator 9.0 file.

Adobe Photoshop 5.5
Include or imbed all fonts. Do not flatten Photoshop images, leave them in their original layers.

MS Word 2003 for Windows
If at all possible, embed all images. If not, please include copies of images and include fonts used in the publication. We do accept the original Word documents.

We accept JPEG - TIFF - EPS - BMP files........Please try and use high-resolution graphics (150-300 dpi) Please do not send JPEG images unless they are high resolution. (72 dpi images are not very good for print work)

Use a file compression utility like WinZip to compress your files for sending over the internet. This keeps everything together and speeds up the transfer process.
